Two sides, one discipline

The name behind the initials is Begini Howard Private Equity — and both halves of it are real, operating lines of business.

The performance side builds, repairs, and supplies: facilities repair and construction, maritime and industrial services, and equipment, furniture and medical supply. The work runs from vessel repair and test-track resurfacing to emergency roofs, laboratory instruments, and hospital supply — awarded competitively, priced firm, and delivered from Oklahoma City to Alaska and the Pacific territories.

The capital side puts the same contract literacy to work as funding: BHPE sponsors and finances other contractors' awarded federal contracts, secured through an assignment of claims under the federal Assignment of Claims Act and FAR Subpart 32.8.
